STMicroelectronics' STM32F1 series of mainstream MCUs meet the needs of various applications in the industrial, medical and consumer markets. With this product family, STMicroelectronics leads the world in Arm Cortex-M core microcontrollers and sets a milestone in the history of embedded applications.

This family achieves high performance based on the integration of best-in-class peripherals and low power consumption, low voltage operation, etc., while also achieving a high level of integration at an acceptable price, with simple architecture and easy-to-use tools. The family consists of five product lines that are pin, peripheral and software compatible.

The STM32F100 Value Line features high processing performance and 11 16-bit timers, including motor control timers and a high-speed 12-bit ADC with a conversion time of 1.2 μs for efficient industrial control applications.

Based on an ARM Cortex M3 core operating at up to 24 MHz, the STM32 Value Line offers an excellent balance between cost-performance-peripherals. It provides all the necessary features, making it ideal for developing economical applications (typically implemented with 16-bit microcontrollers).

The STM32F101 series uses an ARM Cortex M3 core with a maximum CPU speed of 36MHZ. The product includes 16-kByte to 1-MByte of flash memory, providing a good balance between performance and cost.

STM32F102 series

The STM32F102 device uses a Cortex-M3 core with a maximum CPU speed of 48 MHz. With a USB full speed interface, it is a low-cost smart solution for applications that require USB.

The STM32F105/107 devices use a Cortex-M3 core with a CPU speed of up to 72 MHz. They target applications that require connectivity and real-time performance, such as industrial controls, security application control panels, UPS and home audio. This series has 64~256KB on-chip Flash memory, 64KB SRAM and 14 communication interfaces.
